The Hispanic node returns the share of the total population which is Hispanic belonging to any race. All other race nodes (White Non-Hispanic, Black, Native American, Asian, Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, Other Race) return the share of the total population which is of that racial group and is non-Hispanic. Aside from the Two or More races node, the racial group nodes return the share of the population which is that race only. The White and Asian node returns the cumulative share of the population which is White or Asian, not the share of the total population which is White and Asian. For example, the Black node returns the share of the total population which is non-Hispanic Black or African-American alone.
Share of the total population which belongs to each Hispanic origin group. The Central American node aggregates Costa Rican, Guatemalan, Honduran, Nicaraguan, Panamanian, Salvadoran, and other Central American origin. The South American node aggregates Argentinian, Bolivian, Chilean,, Columbian, Ecuadorian, Paraguayan, Peruvian, Uruguayan, Venezuelan, and other South American origin.
Share of the total population which belongs to each Asian origin group. For example, the Korean node returns the share of the total population which is Korean alone.
Share of the total population which reports ancestry from each group. Ancestry figures are reporting shares and are not mutually exclusive. For example, the English Ancestry node returns the share of the total population which reports having English ancestry.
Total number of people in each feature that belong to each racial or ethnic group and are voting-age, i.e., 18 or older. The Voting-Age Population node returns the total voting-age population. All VAP nodes which are not Hispanic VAP return the non-Hispanic VAP of the respective racial group. For example, the Black VAP node returns the non-Hispanic Black or African-American alone voting-age population.
