The Input node comes with every MapLab project. It represents the starting point for each project, and describes the initial election values (e.g., past election results, VoteHub’s forecast, etc) by candidate, feature, and sometimes Vote Component. Each candidate in the Input node has a connection point which outputs that candidate’s initial vote figures.
