Map View
The Map View is the default interface for MapLab, and can be used to apply changes in vote totals, turnout estimates, and votes shifting from candidates. It comprises a map of the race with changes applied, as well as four tabs: Race Totals, Data Report, Vote Shift, and Turnout.
The map can be viewed in its default view, Original View, and Shift View. The default view shows the map and tabs with the changes applied to the map. The Original View shows the unchanged data from the selected preset (e.g., VoteHub’s midterms forecast), and the Shift View only shows the changes applied to the map (without the original data).
